Holswich Commits to Netball Infrastructure

Netball will become an even more enjoyable experience for Pine Rivers Netball Association players and family supporters, under a commitment announced today by LNP Member for Pine Rivers, Seath Holswich.

Mr Holswich said if re-elected on 31 January, funding will be committed for new grandstand seating at Pine Rivers Netball Association courts at Les Hughes Sporting Complex in Bray Park.

“If I am re-elected as part of an LNP Government, I will deliver this essential seating for Pine Rivers Netball Association,” Mr Holswich said.

“This is part of my strong plan for an even better Pine Rivers community and will only be delivered if I am re-elected at the next election.

“This commitment will provide long overdue seating at the complex, where there is currently no spectator seating.”

Each year, more than 1700 girls play netball with 12 local clubs that are involved in the Pine Rivers Netball Association.

“Up to 3000 people play and watch netball every weekend at PRNA, so this will be a welcome addition to the facilities at Bray Park,” Mr Holswich said.

“This grandstand seating will also enable the association to better accommodate any future state Netball Queensland events.”

The funding commitment of $53,000 will purchase 12, three tier x four metre grandstand seats.
