A crate of custom gas fired commercial grill appliances has become the latest Brendale-manufactured export to the United States of America.

Brendale based Custom-Stainless-Industries (C-S-I) last week celebrated its first exports of locally manufactured custom restaurant appliances to the lucrative USA market.

Mr Seath Holswich, Member for Pine Rivers, joined with representatives of Moreton Bay Regional Council, Australian Made Campaign and other local businesses to mark the occasion.

“Brendale is the powerhouse of our local economy,” Mr Holswich said.

“It is because of businesses such as C-S-I that our region currently has an unemployment rate of only 3.4% - one of the lowest unemployment rates of any region in Queensland.”

“C-S-I not only provide manufacturing jobs locally, but they also source products from other local businesses, supporting the local economy.”

“Theirs is a success story worth celebrating.”

C-S-I’s custom made products are being sought out by businesses across the globe, and are already featuring in five and six star hotels, resorts and casinos in Singapore, Dubai, China, Hong Kong and Indonesia.

C-S-I Senior Sales Consultant, Mr Ron Pattinson, spoke of the importance of a business hub such as Brendale to their business success.

“Brendale has proven to be an ideal location for C-S-I. The support base of established business infrastructure which exists at present, and which continues to grow, has assisted immensely with the day to day operation of our custom manufacturing facility.”

Mr Holswich reaffirmed his commitment to supporting businesses in Pine Rivers.

“A strong local economy builds a strong local community and I remain committed to assisting local businesses to grow and succeed.”

“Pine Rivers businesses such as C-S-I have an important role to play in building a stronger Queensland economy and making Queensland even more competitive on the world stage.”
