Have Your Say in Building a Better Pine Rivers

Every Pine Rivers resident and business owner can have their say in how to build a better Pine Rivers, through the 2013 Pine Rivers Annual Survey.

The annual survey, launched today by the Member for Pine Rivers Mr Seath Holswich, canvasses a wide range of issues, giving locals an opportunity to have their voice heard.

"One of the criticisms often leveled at politicians is that they don't listen to their community and that people don't have a chance to have their say," Mr Holswich said.

"This may have been the case in the past for Pine Rivers residents, but as a member of a government committed to restoring accountability in government, I am keen to hear the views of our entire community on a range of issues."

"I want to know about the worst roads in our community; about what we can do to supercharge our local economy; and about the costs of living that are still hurting families."

Mr Holswich launched the inaugural Pine Rivers Annual Survey last year, and over 350 locals responded, giving their views on a range of issues.

"The responses I receive from this survey will play a big part in determining my priorities for 2014."

"I am committed to building a better Pine Rivers, and to achieve that goal, we need to be working together as a community on the important local issues."
