The benefits of the BrisBricks Lego Expo continue to flow into the Pine Rivers community with the announcement today of a $13,000 donation from BrisBricks to Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre.

The donation comes from admission fees to the Expo, which was attended by nearly 7,000 people.

“BrisBricks are pleased to make this donation to support the wonderful services provided by Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre,” said Mr Roger Rooms, President of BrisBricks.

Mr Seath Holswich, State Member for Pine Rivers, noted that this donation adds to the list of benefits the Expo brought to the Pine Rivers community.

“This significant donation to Pine Rivers Neighbourhood Centre is the icing on the cake of a highly successful weekend.”

“Local schools benefited from raising money running the sausage sizzles; local businesses received excellent exposure through sponsorship of the event; and our entire community benefited from having thousands of people visiting Strathpine over the weekend.”

BrisBricks have been receiving positive feedback about the Expo and look forward to returning to Pine Rivers.

“We hope to lock in dates for 2014 very soon and look forward to making this an annual event that grows bigger and better every year,” Mr Rooms said.
