State Member for Pine Rivers, Mr Seath Holswich, last night launched a new website aimed to assist Pine Rivers residents combat increasing costs of living.

The website (, launched at last night's Pine Rivers Cost of Living Forum, provides information to local residents and businesses about various aspects of financial management.

"The website aims to be a one stop shop for local residents, providing links to various resources, programs and services," Mr Holswich said.

"This is all about empowering Pine Rivers residents and business owners with the information and tools they need to combat rising costs of living."

The website currently contains over 40 links to different resources.

"I hope this resource will develop over time and I would welcome any further information and links that can be added to the site."

Attendees at the Cost of Living Forum were addressed by The Hon Mark McArdle (Minister for Energy and Water Supply) about recent changes to electricity prices and solar schemes.

Practical money saving advice was also given to attendees by representatives from Westpac Bank and MyBudget.

"This Forum, as well as the Budget Assist website, are part of my commitment to help Pine Rivers residents and businesses tackle cost of living issues."
