New Constables To Hit The Beat In Pine Rivers District

Local MPs have welcomed the appointment of three new First Year Constables from the Oxley Queensland Police Service (QPS) Academy to the Pine Rivers Police District.

"After completing the 26 week training program and now graduating, it's great to see three new Constables appointed to the Pine Rivers Police District," Mr Trevor Ruthenberg, Member for Kallangur, said.

"As graduates of the QPS Police Academy, these officers bring with them the necessary knowledge and skills to help best serve our community."

"These officers are a welcome addition to our community as we seek to offer residents a safe place to live, work and play," Mr Seath Holswich, Member for Pine Rivers, said.

"Congratulations to all of the graduates and I wish them well in their careers with the QPS."

The Newman Government is committed to providing an additional 1,100 police officers over four years.

People interesting in joining the QPS are encouraged to log onto for more information.
